Overview of Medical Cannabis in New Hampshire

House Bill 573 passed as legislative bill in 2013. Patients are required to obtain a recommendation from a doctor or registered nurse that they have been seeing for at least the last three months. Patients are required to register with a single dispensary, and may not purchase from multiple dispensaries. Patients from other states are not allowed to purchase medical cannabis in New Hampshire, but they are allowed to carry it with their valid registration card and a doctor’s note.
